Marie Boutteçon is a creative force in watch design, artistic direction, and product development. Through her studio, she offers a full spectrum of services—creative direction, design, and product development—crafted exclusively for watch and jewellery maisons.
Her portfolio reflects nearly fifteen years of experience, an uncompromising eye for detail, and an obsession with perfection. By blending craftsmanship with narrative, she creates pieces that honour a brand’s past while shaping its future. Every project is approached with discernment, passion, and respect for artistry.
A Creative Path
Marie’s story begins in childhood, surrounded by art and fine craftsmanship. Her father, Jérôme Boutteçon, is the master of wood marquetry whose work for Cartier, Jaeger-LeCoultre, and Patek Philippe taught her early on the value of precision and beauty.
Her studies led her to a Master’s degree in Fashion, Accessories, and Luxury Goods in Paris, where she refined her sense of style and luxury. From there, Switzerland beckoned. At Parmigiani Fleurier she designed both collections and bespoke timepieces, developing her vision of horology at its highest level.
Driven by a passion for feminine watch design, Marie later founded her own eponymous brand. These collections combined elegance with innovation, each piece marked by poetic aesthetics and imaginative functionality.

In 2025, she was appointed to the committee of experts for the Louis Vuitton Watch Prize for Independent Creatives, affirming her place as one of the industry’s most respected voices.
